Michael

I have a new computer with XP Professional and have been
installing programs. However the Install program won't
run now. Norton's Utility informs me that a file
mscoree.dll is missing from c:\program files\.... \Intel32
How do I correct this problem so that the Install will
work again.

Mscoree.dll is part of the .NET framework for Windows.
Go to Add/Remove and remove the .NET framework there.

To reinstall .NET Framework go to:
www.microsoft.com/net or from the Windows Update Site.

Hi Michael,

You may need to install the .net framework, see:

I hate to say this, but I tossed my Norton Utilities program in the garbage. It locked up my hard disk so that I couldn't defrag it or even run checkdisk. The only way I solved this problem was to reformat my hard drive. No more Norton's for me!
