Just a quick comment about the Anti-Spyware beta - the
installer needs to be able to run in safe mode if the
Anti-Spyware product is to be taken seriously. All of
the competitors are able to do so.

This is important because many systems will not start in
normal mode given a bad spyware infection. Just my
$0.02. Thanks.

Well, it's not that I disagree with that, just a couple of comments.
First, Windows Installer does not run in safe mode so no software that
relies on it can be installed in safe mode. What you are asking for is to be
able to clean a computer in safe boot. The standalone module which does not
need an installation and which is able to do a basic check of everything
that needs to boot normally would be more appropriate.
And then, I personally didn't see many spyware that messed with an OS that
hard so it can't boot. Actually, I didn't see any (then again, didn't see
many at work either). It's not the idea of spyware to brake a computer it is
suppose to *spy* on. It supposed to spy on a user *working* on computer. So
it is either a virus, and antispyware will not help you here, or a poorly
written spyware which in my expirience is not common.

my 2 kopeikas :)

Hi Chris,
Install from Safe Mode isn't a standard operating procedure, yet we've seen
some calls for it with this program in some shape or form..
