Install problem

Upgrading from 98 to XP; getting the message that I must
remove Secure Remote program, even though it is already
uninstalled. XP install will not continue without
removing this program. Have uninstalled and deleted all
references I could find, including in the registry.

Where is XP install looking to find a reference to this
program?

Are you referring to Secure Remote VPN software? You may want to check with
CheckPoint (the manufacturer) on this - they may have a fix or patch:
