I have a computer in my office that is on its last leg and I am starting to migrate files and programs to a new computer. The plan is to destroy the old computer once everything is transferred. Over the past year, I have purchased multiple copies of PowerPoint 2002 and installed/registered it on workstations around the office, but failed to mark the cases as to which workstation they belong to. I am trying to figure out which CD belongs to the workstation I am planning to destroy.

Is there a way to look in the registry and match up to the CD? Does the CD really matter? Can I call Microsoft and give them info from the current PC to get a valid Product Key for installation?? Anyone have experience with this??

Search the internet for some software called

belarc advisor

I'm pretty sure it will find the product key on each PC...then you can match
up each cd with each pc
