I have a server with a CDRom drive & no floppy. During the install from
bootable CD, I press F6 to install additional drivers for my RAID card, but
the only option is to use a floppy drive (which I don't have). Is there any
way to use a driver CD instead of floppy during this part of the install?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, since floppyless servers are
becoming more common.

Thanks,
Scott

yeah, I'm sure that's what I'll end up doing, but was wondering if there is
any other way.

Actually, I'm not sure that it will work this way. The floppy will only
work if USB drivers are loaded when booting from the CD, and I cannot say
for sure that they are. It is worth a try though.

I am not aware of a method to load the driver from anything else than a
floppy.

after it searches for and doesn't find the floppy, you
should be able to redirect the search to a source you
specify, ie a file on hd or cd

I don't think it lets you do that during the text portion of the setup, only
in the GUI portion.
