I have a back hard drive "r:" that I have formatted, but
want to do a new install of 2000 Professional to make it
usable. When I run install from the CD I can't tell for
sure that is is installing to that drive. I don't want
to lose any data on my C: drive. What is the best way to
be sure it will install on drive R?

The master drive is drive0 the slave drive would be drive1 the partition
numbering on each drive starts at 1 if that helps. Afraid I don't know what
a "back hard drive" is.
