Hi all

I am trying to install MS Access 97 onto Terminal Server 2003 and I found
Microsoft article OFF97: How to install Office onto Terminal Server but I
can not find the Office97.cmd file .Does any body know where to find a
trusted site to download from? any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Is it in the Program Files\Office 97 folder? Or on the Office 97 CD?

Hi Tony

Thank You for your reply. (Office97.cmd) is a script file mentioned by
microsoft that must be exexuted while instaling office 97 onto terminal
server so each user has his own settings to run office.
see http://support.microsoft.com/?id=210231 for details. The Problem is that
i cant find this file in the program file nor in office 97 CD.and Microsoft
web site does not have any link to this file.

Best Regards

It's not on my Office 97 Pro CD either. However it is available for
downloading.

Hi Tony

Thank you for the link. But how can I Know if the download does not have any
harmful script, I need a trusted web site and I prefer if it is a Microsoft
web site. Because this script will be installed over more than one server
and I do not want to get any kind of problems.

<shrug> No guarantee's. I did take a very quick look through the
relevant .cmd files and they looked reasonable although I certainly
could've missed something.

That said A97 was never really designed or tested for Terminal Server.
The A2007 runtime does work on TS and is free.
