Install Office2K or XP on external harddrive

Is there a way I can install Office applications (such as Word,
PowerPoint, and etc.) into an USB external enclosure harddrive and run
it on any Win2K or WinXP when I connect that ext-harddrive? Thanks.

Greetings --

No, there isn't. You'd have to reinstall Office on each machine
to which you connect the external drive in order to create the
hundreds of necessary registry entries and to place the dozens of
essential system files back into the appropriate Windows folders and
sub-folders.
