Since upgrading Win98 to WinXP, Norton AntiVirus hasn't
been running. I want to uninstall and reinstall it, but I
get an error "Can't access ::\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Desktop". Uninstall fails. Can anyone tell me what
to do about this?

Norton isn't a Microsoft product you may want to try
Symantec's web site and choose support.

Hi,

Check permissions on that folder (right-click, select propertes/security
tab - for xp home you must be in safe mode, for pro you must disable simple
file sharing). Alternately, right-click the setup.exe file, use "run as" and
enter the administrator name and password. Make sure your version of NAV is
compatible with WinXP, do not attempt to install a version that isn't.
