I used this printer on Windows95 with no problems. When
I couldn't get it to work on Windows XP, I was told to
download a new driver. They sent me a disk, and I
installed it but it wouldn't print in color. I kept
trying over and over, even tried some of the other
drivers on the disk, but couldn't get it to work. Then I
noticed that though the top of the Printer Test Page says
Windows XP, it lists Windows NT x86 in the environment
under "The information below describes your printer
driver and port settings." I did contact Hewlet Packard
and request drivers for Windows XP, and they sent me a
new disk, but it also lists Windows NT x86 there. Do I
have any other alternative? HP no longer supports this
printer, it seems like they have an obligations to
provide the correct driver for my new operating system.
