J Jimmy Brush Feb 1, 2007 #2 Hello, You should wait for your 64-bit disk if you want to use the 64-bit edition. You cannot upgrade from 32-bit to 64-bit. -- - JB Microsoft MVP - Windows Shell/User Windows Vista Support Faq http://www.jimmah.com/vista/

If you install the 32-bit now, you'll have to back up your data and do a clean install when the 64-bit arrives. I'd wait but if you have a hassle-free backup method or don't have any data to be preserved then go for it! Tom Lake

D Dave B. Feb 1, 2007 #4 You'll have to do a fresh load, you can't upgrade 32 bit to 64, so it depends on how much work you want to do. --
