Inspiron 1520 Dell Laptop needs upgrades please help!

Im looking to upgrade my laptop as much as possible to run Aion more smoothly. Right now the game is choppy at low settings, not exactly how i want to play it. Are there any areas i could improve to help play the game smoother and on higher settings? thanks!




Intel Core2 DUO T5450 @1.66GHz
979, 1.00 GB of RaM
NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS

Welcome to the forum..

First off i'd start with a RAM upgrade. Your Laptop supports upto 4 gig RAM.
After that if you still have no joy you could do a Processsor upgrade. As your laptop doesn't use an intergrated graphics card a graphics upgrade is also possible. But in all honesty I'd say the RAM upgrade would be sufficient. Unless you can do the work yourself, the CPU and graphics upgrade can be pretty expensive..
