inserting video

hi there
I need to insert video into a power point slide. I've
been asked by the conference organisers to make sure all
files are contained within the presentation and not as
sep files. How do i insert video so that it doesn't need
the original file with it as a separate file?
BTW it's a mpeg

You can't. Videos are always linked. Also, sound files are linked, though
WAV files will be embedded if they aren't larger than the size limit you set
in Tools > Options > General. WAVs are the only media files that can be
embedded.
