Inserting video in powerpoint

I have created a presentation in PowerPoint 2003 and successfully inserted a
wmv format video clip.

However the presentation has to be delivered on a laptop with PowerPoint
2007 and the video clip will not run on this PC. I have tried copying the wmv
file to the laptop and inserting it into the presentation unsuccessfully.

I hope I do not have to recreate the whole presentation in PowerPoint 2007.

I suspect this is not to do with 2007, but rather the set up (i.e. codecs
installed) of the other machine or the path length to the video. See here

Did you copy *also* the video on the laptop?
