inserting tracking code with hyperlink - banner ad

Heya all...

I have a banner ad that I need to insert a hyperlink plus a tracking code.
How do I put the tracking code in? Where does it go?
 
Ask whoever is doing the tracking
- it depend what they are tracking (usually it is a parameter in the hyperlink)
