Inserting Text into a form scanned into Word

Is it possible to complete a form when I've scanned it
into word,i.e. scanning a job app and wanting to type in
the information rather than hand write it. If not
possible to do in Word, is there any program I can use to
do this?

Word has forms capability, but you'd have to add that in
after scanning. Usually, one scans the paper form as a
graphic, then positions form fields over it. You'll find a
tutorial at www.mousetrax.com. But this would only be woth
the effort if it were a form you'd be re-using regularly.
