I am using one of the templates in word 2000 and am trying
to insert a text box, however when i try to insert a text
box it automaticly puts a left indent of 1.27. I then
have to go and reset it back to 0. Which is no problem,
but surely i should be able to insert a text box without
having to go through all this hasle????

Thanks

Michael

Hi Michael,

Textbox from the DRAWING toolbar?

Insert one such text box and make the changes. Now
right-click it and choose "Set AutoShape Defaults". All the
textboxes you draw from now on (in this document) will have
this formatting.

If you want it for all NEW documents from the template, open
the template and perform the steps there (then you can delete
the textbox).
