inserting standard text

Hi all

I create numerous presentations and always have to include a standard
paragraph on every slide. I usually open an old presentation, copy the
paragraph from one of the slides and then enter into the Master slide. This
does work but then there is ocassionally a slide which doesn't need the
paragraph and I have to take it off. Is there an easier way than typing it
into the Master slide?

In Word, I could use the 'autotext' facility so it is entered automatically.
is there an equivalent in PowerPoint?

Thanks.

Louise

Try this "trick"

In tools >autocorrect options

Make sure that replace text as you type is ticked

Then in replace type <text> (or something memorable and unique)
in replace with type "The text of the standard papagraph"

Type <text> into a text box and try it

Did that answer the question / help?
