Inserting song for duration of presentation trouble

I am trying to insert a song to play for the duration of
the slide presentation, but am having trouble because when
I insert the file, it says "Powerpoint couldn't insert a
movie from the selected file". The song is in a .wma
format, if that makes a difference!

When you go to Insert/Movies and Sounds, are you then selecting Sound
from File? Or did you select Movie from File by mistake?
