I am triing to insert a scanned image onto my website but I keep getting a
message that reads:

Could not load
c:\down~1\stacyb~1\Locals~1\Temp\Frontpagetempdir\WP2Bxql4.jpeg.

I changed the scanned format from tiff to jpeg (as well as gif and png) and
the message is always the same.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
Thanks!!
Stacy

First, File | Import the image into your open FP web (put it in a folder
such as "images")
Then, insert the image from that location onto a page in your web and save.

Thank you for answering my question so quickly. However, I think I am doing
what you say but I still get that same message "Can not load..."
When I open the FP web folder than contacts that file I can see it and it
has a jpeg extension.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

Make sure the image is in RGB format, not CYMK.

also...what size is the image file?
If you scanned it and then just imported it, without resizing & optimizing
it first, the file may be Huge.

Not all jpeg images are alike in format.

Try opening the picture in microsoft paint. Then save it as a jpeg or
gif from paint. Use this as the file to import to frontpage.

If you mean that you just changed the extesion of the image to .jpg by
typing it, you are doing that wrong. Open your original scanned image
in your image editing program, and then export or save it as a .jpg or
..gif type image.

Then import that image into FP and you should be good to go.

Have you saved your scanned image in the Website files as a.Jpeg and not just
inserted it from your Photo Software. If not, try and save it in a folder on
the Website files and insert it from there. Hope this helps.
