Inserting pictures

Lately I have began to notice that, when I want to insert a picture from a
file into a Word document, it takes ages (even when the picture is small in
size), and if I try to interfere to cancel or whatever, Word just crashes.
Have I configured something the wrong way or is there anyone here who hears
certain alarm bells?

Sorry I don't have an answer for you; apparently, neither does anyone else...

You might try asking this in the word.setup.networking newsgroup. Be sure to
mention the version of Word, the version of Windows and what kind of network
you're on (if any).
