Try as I may I cannot find an answer to this.
My document to insert uses Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3 etc. which works
fine. However under Heading 1, I may use 10 Heading 2 entries. This means I
need several slides under Heading 1. HOW do I insert a new Heading 1 slide
and CONTINUE the outline?

EG
I. Heading 1
A. Heading 2
B. Heading 2
1. Heading 3
2. Heading 3
3. Heading 3
C. Heading 2
D. Heading 2
E. Heading 2
--> at this point I want to do something like a "cntrl break" to make a new
slide under I. Heading 1 and CONTINUE with the following. HOW O HOW do I do
this???
F. Heading 2
G. Heading 2
1. Heading 3
2. Heading 3
3. Heading 3
H. Heading 2
1. Heading 3
2. Heading 3
3. Heading 3
Thanks so much so very much to the person who helps me with this.

Heres my recommendation:

Rather than have all those sides with the same heading, why don't you create
one topic slide for what you call Heading 1, then use the Heading 2 as the
slide titles for your next 10 or more slides. Make the Topic Slide different
in appearance from the rest of your slides and your audience will appreciate
not having all those repetitive slide titles.

Your Outline would look something like this:

I. Heading 1 - Topic Slide
A. Heading 2
B. Heading 2
1. Heading 3
2. Heading 3
3. Heading 3
C. Heading 2
D. Heading 2
E. Heading 2
F. Heading 2
G. Heading 2
1. Heading 3
2. Heading 3
3. Heading 3
H. Heading 2
1. Heading 3
2. Heading 3
3. Heading 3

If that not really what you want, PPT 2003 should display a little "autofit
box" when you click inside the text box on the slide. You have the option to
split the text between 2 slides, use 2 columns, etc.

Sorry, missed the PPT 2000 reference. You'll need to split the text yourself
or choose the two column layout, but I'd still go for the Topic Slide
approach.
