Did you know that the date setting is globalized, so your date should be
wrong.

date format definitions are tied to the RDBMS, not something that is
'globalized' (what's that anyway?, some definition by the UN?). So you can
have an Oracle DB for example with a different date format setting than the
OS it runs on.

That is very interesting, I did not know that it was possible to connect
Outlook Express to an Oracle database, however when an MVP as Frans Bouma
sais so it should be possible.

A Less Valued Person as Cor Ligthert (as which you have described me in a
previous thread) does not know that of course.

To have a look at globalized, have a look at this page. (There are more,
however cost me to much time to give you all the links).
Strange that an MVP does not know this, are you really one?

oh was this about outlook express, I thought I was reading the ado.net
newsgroup.

Original posting:
"inserting Null into date field insteadof "Jan 1 1900"

hi i am providing a html form to insert dates into sql table using asp.net
and vb.net.
when user is not entered by default it is taking as Jan 1 1900. I want to
insert null if user left date fields."

Now, where are we talking about OE?

You do know where Jan 1 1900 comes from, do you?
A Less Valued Person as Cor Ligthert (as which you have described me in a

So I conclude all this crap again and in the previous thread is just about
you being jealous. How typical.

From various sources I've heard about your reactions to MVP's. Let me give
you an advice: stop your childish behavior.

Well, it will probably hurt your feelings deeply, but yes, I am.

...which has nothing to do with it.

It seems that again it is proven in every good nest there can be a bad one.

And tell me what other MVP has mailed to you that I had showed that I am
yelous, with throwing this mud in the newsgroups you are throwing mud to all
MVP's.
