inserting multiple names on same letter

I would like to know how to do the following. I would like to send the
same letter to 200 people with different name. I would like to know how
I can make it easy to change the name in several places in the same
letter such as dear Joe Smith, then Dear Adam Apple. I also would like
to put the name in several places within the letter. Please start from
scratch as I am not very adept at using Word. Thank you so much.
