Inserting m4a file in PowerPointe

Does anyone know how to insert an m4a audio file into Powerpoint? MP3's go
in fine, but the newer formats aren't recognized. Is there an update, add-in
or some way to convert them to mp3 files.

Hello,
M4a is a format that Apple iTunes uses. But as far as I know PPT does not
recognize that type of file.
You will have to convert it to an MP3.
