Inserting Images into a WORD document

I need to have a heading to a report that has an image at each side
and text in the middle.

I have attempted to use a three cell table without borders and I have
inserted an image in each of the outer cells and the text in the
middle cell,

The images are truncated. Only the lower 25% of each is visible in
preview.

I normally do this sort of report in Publisher using the same
technique and have no problems. This time the final recipient can't
print from Publisher.

Any advice is welcome.

Thanks,

Check that the table row height is not set to "exactly", and check in
File/Page Setup that you allow enough room for the header margin.

If you need help finding things, please tell us the version of Word you
have.

G'day Cindy,

Check that the table row height is not set to "exactly", and check in
File/Page Setup that you allow enough room for the header margin.

The table is not in the header. It is the header to the page but is in
the main body.

I have hade the row height 20mm and the problem persists.

I am using WORD 2002 (10.5815.6626) SP3

Do we still have a mystery.

Cheers,

Robin

You should be able to insert images into a table, and I'm not sure why that isn't working for you. But an alternative approach would be to insert each image as inline-with-text in a single paragraph (as though each image were one letter in a three-letter word, or three one-letter words separated by spaces). Obviously you'll need to manually resize the images to fit and look good next to each other. Hope this helps.

Sounds like it, yes...

If you set the Row Height to "Auto", so that Word adjusts
it to the necessary height to display all content, does
anything change? (Probably not, but one needs to check,
anyway)

Is the problem only on-screen, or also in the print-out?

What type of graphics are these? If you test, using a
different graphic type (a *.bmp, for example), do you see
anything different?
