Inserting image data

How can i inset and get the image data using ado.net.
The data server is ms sql. Any starting point (web address, sample code...,
class name) please...

(Note the actual thing that i want to do is storing images (gif... or jpegs)
on my data server...)
i can do this with my own component. but it may done with ado.net but how?)
