I want to set up document properties and then use them in my Powerpoint
presentation. For example, I want to use the document title in my Master
Title slide and any other slide that I want to link to. How can I just set
the document property for Title and have it appear anywhere in my document?

Dean,
I'm afraid you are out of luck in PowerPoint. In Word you can easily insert
document properties, even create your own and insert them.
You can have document properties in PPT, but as far as I know cannot insert
them on a slide.

You can pull these elements from the property values using VBA, then
propagate them out into the slide presentation using hidden markers (tags)
to identify where they belong, but this is not an automated process. You
would have to code VBA to do this when you told it to.

I was hoping to not have to code them in but seems like this may be the only
way to go about it. Thanks to Luc, Steve, and Bill.
