Hi

I have created an Access database and now wish to create a training manual
using Powerpoint.
How do I copy my Access forms into an powerpoint slide.
Is this the correct way of going about this

I am new to Powerpoint so please be gentle

Richard

Hi Richard

There are several ways you could approach this, here are 2:
1. Take screen shots of the forms and add them to powerpoint (alt + prnt
screen in access, ctrl + v in powerpoint). You could then add callouts (from
autoshapes menu) to 'comment' on particular areas
2. Take screen recordings of you filling in a form (you can use Producer a
free powerpoint 2003 add-in) then add these to you presentation - be aware
video files are always linked not embeded (see here:
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00155.htm)

I also like to use hyperlinks in manuals so people can quickly navigate to
the area they are interested in (think website). If you would like to see a
sample created using powerpoint 2003 & producer, drop me an e-mail - lucy at
