We no longer seem to have the handy facility present in Outlook Express
which apparently does not operate in Windows Mail.
I refer to the old "insert picture" command which gave you the opportunity
to place it either at the text top or the baseline.
Anyone care to comment if they know how to do this in Vista e-mails?

Once you do the Insert | Picture then right click on the inserted picture
and go to Properties and then you can set the alignment.

I had hoped that I had made the problem clear previously.
In outlook express, when you inserted a picture in a line of text an e-mail,
you were asked whether it should appear with the top of the picture at the
top of the line of text, or with the bottom of the picture in line with the
bottom of the line of text.
Since I cannot demonstrate this in a post my attempt to describe it verbally
will have to suffice!
Your picture below is standing alone on a line and any accompanying text
would have appeared in line with the bottom of the picture.
Does that make things clearer?

What are you on about?

Many thanks Steve!
I am delighted you have shown me that the "missing" facility was there all
the time and can be used just as in O.E.
It is great to have such help from everyone when needed.

I had to search for it. <G>
