I am running powerpoint 2K and am trying to insert a .mov movie clip it opens
with quick time i keep getting an error it will not let me insert it. Do i
need to use a different viewer? or convert the mov into a mpg or other file
type?????

thanks

That's a great link, but it probably has more information than you wanted
to know. The bottom line with QuickTime and Windows PowerPoint is that
you probably have to hyperlink to the QuickTime file rather than Insert
Movies and Sounds. It will start up the QuickTime player and play in a
separate Window. If you really want to play it in the same Window, you'll
have to convert it.

I have hyperlinked my .mov and it works. But I'm having my ppt run
continously without supervision and wondered if there's a way to command the
hyperlink to do that?

Hi

I have a similar question if anyone can help please. I am doing a Powerpoint
presentation for a neighbour in PP2007. He has an HTML document where one
page has an animated graphic which shows a train demonstration for
signalling. I want to add this into the slides, can it be done? I think its
been made up with Flash Player but the document is an HTML. Any help most
appreciated.
