I need to insert carets over letters other than AEIOU. I understand how to do that.

For example how do I place a "p" with a caret over top.

You can use character map to insert all kinds of things in word.

I did scroll through the character map for several font types, but have yet to find the specific character I need.

That being the lower-case p with a caret over top.

I looked through font types: normal text, Cambria (Math), Caliibri and Arial.

With about 250 font types, I would really like to avoid searching through these until I find what I need.

Whats a Caret?

Like this = Á É Í Ó Ú they are only available for Vowels as far as i'm aware?
I don't think they are for Consonents

This any good? Ṕ

Or this? ṕ

Or even this? ṗ

They're in Word > Insert > Symbol about three quarters of the way down the list.

Lookup circumflex (ˆ)

TD, in Wales they use a, e, i, o, u, w, y as vowels ;)

oh, and IE will probably not handle that particular combinaton (p̂) as your browser may fail to pick up a glyph from a font other than the current one.

[edit] oh, hahaha, it worked

p & # 770

OK, no spaces

see if that works now?

Be aware, this may not actually show in your browser as its not a "default" Unicode compliance
