Inserted Slide at end of presentation won't show

I have created a PowerPoint presentation for a friend and due to the song I had to insert another slide at the end of the presentation but it will not appear after the previous slide. What do I do to get it to show up? I have tried everything and still can't get it to play through to the end and show the last slide
