Inserted movie in powerpoint blanks out

My PowerPoint presentation with inserted video clips were working till this
morning. when it was time for a video clip, there was a white screen instead.
I have used the same presentation in the past on the same computer. Can
someone give me pointers to fix this problem?

This may seem dumb, but have you verified that the video file still exists
(in the same folder) on that computer?
