PPT2002
I can't find a way to properly set up the defaults on the
bullets when doing "insert text box"
I was able to get the font set, but I want the bullets to
be at 130% and yellow-gold with the same spacing as my
standard text.
Also - is it more difficult to set the color scheme in
2002 that prior versions?

any help would be appreciated.

thanks in advance and Happy Holidays
Andy

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello Andy,

Probably the easiest way to do this is to use the Format Painter tool.

1) Select standard bulleted list text box with text in it (if you want to
pick up formatting for all 5 levels, the bulleted list should include all
file levels of text)
2) Click on the Format Painter tool (to pick up it's formatting
3) Click on the text box to which you want the formatting to be applied
(painted)

If you (or anyone else reading this message) have suggestions for how
PowerPoint might improve it's text formatting features, don't forget to
send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)

Hi, Andy.

Try setting up your textbox the way you want it, then right-click and
select Set Autoshape Defaults. That should do the bullets for you as
well as the font face and color and size.

As for the color scheme, I don't think it's harder to set, it's just a
little harder to find where to edit them. The "Edit Color Schemes" link
is down at the bottom of the Slide Design--Color Schemes taskpane.
