insert the date automatically, and insert a number automatically

I want to do the following things, can someone help?

When inserting a new row in an Excel worksheet, I want
that today's date can be inserted into one field
automatically, and a number that is one more than the
field above it can be inserted into one field
automatically .

Can Excel do this?
