When I check "Set as default for new tables" and indicate a size of 1 row and
1 column as the default, clcik OK, and then Table, Insert, Table, the default
for rows and columns is back to 2. What's up? Can't you set the default to 1
row and 1 column? Thansk in advance.

You can't change the default. However, you can submit this as a suggestion;
click on the dropdown arrow next to the word New and choose "Suggestion for
Microsoft".

Thanks!

Thank you. Can't find a dropdown arrow with the suggestion. Do you mean
somewhere on this page or somewhere in FP?

On this page, just above the lists of posts. It's the same button you used to
create your first post - the dropdown arrow is just to the right of the word
"new".
