Insert Symbol in Excel Graph ???

I have created a line graph with multiple data points. I need to insert an asterick on the line between two data points to indicate statistical significance between these two data points. Can anyone help me figure out how to insert a symbol on this line or anywhere in the graph that I have created. I have tried everything. Thank you so much!!!

An asterisk? You can put one in manually with a text box (on the drawing
toolbar). Type the asterisk in. If you get a border around it, you can
remove it with the format command.
