insert sound and movie options not clickable

I am using Powerpoint 2003 and trying to add a song to a photo
slideshow.
On the Insert menu, I point to Movies and Sounds, The options:
movie from file
movie from clip organizer
sound from file
sound from clip organizer

are all grayed out and I cant click on any of them.
Please help!

Make sure you have a slide selected (the one you want the sound to start
at).

PS If you want the music to play through the presentation have a read of
