Hi,

I have some movies wanted to insert to my ppt files, but powerpoint2003 do
not support the format as rm/rmvb, this is much smaller than other format as
mpeg/avi, etc.I like it so much! But Why? Why don't make this important and
popular format supportable in powerpoint? The same as FlashMX, they all
don't support this! God!
Any help? Thanks a lot!

Sandy, I use camtasia, and simply record screen ..it will then be saved as avi which can be used in powerpoint...hope this helps.

Thank you for your suggestion, but I need small size videos to insert in,
AVI is much larger than RM in file size, almost be 10:1, and I don't want to
cut the time of my video to minimize the size of it, so, is there anything
else I can do?

What about converting the files to Windows Media Video (WMV)? The latest
codec provides good compression. Also, I think Windows Media Player 9.0 is
supposed to play Real Media files. You might want to explore that. You
could insert a WMP object and try it.
