I want to add to an existing live website a number of documents prepared in
Publisher 2003. Front page says 'no'. Any ideas , please ?

FrontPage says "no"? When does it say that? What steps are you using to
add them to the site? Are they Publisher files or did you save them as HTML?
All you need to do is open your web and choose File, Import and import them
into the web.

Do you want everyone to see the documents, or just those with Publisher?

If everyone, convert the documents to .pdf (find a .pdf "printer" such
as cutePDF) and import the .pdf files into your FrontPage web.

If just users with Publisher: File->Import the .pub files into the
FrontPage web.

In both cases, make links to the imported files on a web page.

You could open the documents in Publisher, and save as .html files - but
the HTML produced cannot easily be edited in FrontPage, and is horrible
to look at. This approach should be avoided.

....if you want to display the pub docs as images (although they are likely
to be large files) Pub 2003 has options to save the pages as jpgs.
