Using Outlook 2000

I want to insert a hyperlink in my e-mail message to a
specified network location on my computer at work. The
only way it works (that I know) is to type the location
and it becomes a link. Is there an easier way to do this?

THANKS A BUNCH!

Right click the original link, select "copy". This puts it in your
clipboard.

Go to your email message, click anywhere in the body, then type CTRL V (or
EDIT/PASTE, or right click Paste) Voila! Hit the space bar once and the
telltale blue font colour and underlining will appear.

Mike.

Thank you for your help - Although, I wanted to know how
to insert the link from scratch. For example: in Word,
you would go to Insert > Hyperlink and then navigate to
the desired file.

Thank you

Outlook has that option, too, when creating a new message, at least for OL
2003.
