Hi All
I trying to create a database (Access '97), which users enter site details
via a form, and then i want them to link the record with a jpeg photo
stored on a network.
I would like them to just press a button on the form, that makes the Insert
Picture dialog box to open(or something similar), where they can go and
find the photo and link it.
I would also like the dialog box to open at default to a folder e.g. i:\
data\photgraphs.
Once the user has selected the picture, this will appear in the form, (via
linking not embedded)and the link (e.g. i:\data\photograph\image1.jpeg)to
appear in field within the form/table.
I would also like to have the default of zoom, rather than clip or stretch
(the images can be portrait of landscape)
I have looked around the forumns for answers, but i cann't find anything
that helps, (or that i fully understand). I cannot download any extra .dll
files or third party programs etc. to make things work.
Hope i'm not asking for too much
cheers for any advice
