Insert Function button in XP

The location of the Insert Function Button is located in
front of the Formula Bar in the XP edition of Excel. In
prior versions, the button in front of the Formula Bar was
an Equal Sign. Is it possible to put the Equal Sign back
where is used to be? XP makes it more difficult to edit a
formula by not having that button anymore. Thanks for you
time.

No, the Equal Sign button is gone, and there's no way to replace it in
