Insert Excel object errors

HI!
Any time I tried to insert a excel object in Power point,
I got a message says "This application must be installed.
PLease run Setup from the location where you originally
installed the app." In fact, I have both excel and PP
installed. I am using Windows 2000. Microsoft office 2002.
PLease help

Looks like the registry settings for the application might have got mucked
up. Could you try running PowerPoint and Excel executables with the
/regserver switch?
