I am trying to play a DVD on my pc, but when I press play all I get is a
window open up saying "please insert disc into Drive D:

I have taken the DVD out and replaced it with an Microsoft Encarta DVD and
that gets recognised, but none of my movie DVD's are recognised.

I have played DVD's on pc before, so I know it can do it, but now all I get
is the 'insert disc' message.

Can anyone out there help me
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe your DVD decoder is corrupt. Try reinstalling it.
