Insert chart form in report help

From reading past postings I decided to create a chart on a form using
a query designed for this purpose. I then want to paste this chart in a
report.
My problem (stupid as it may be) is I don't know how to copy and paste
the chart from the form to the report.
I tried viewing the form in design view , selecting all the objects,
copy and pasting into report design view. This just gives me datasheet
info not the chart.
I tried viewing in chart view. There seems to be no way to copy from
there.
Sorry about asking a question that is probably elementary. Thanks for
the help.
 
If your chart is saved as a form, open the report in design view. Position
the windows so that you can see the report and the database window. Just
drag the form from the db window onto your report. You can put a subform on
a report like this.
