insert cell value into hyperlink?

is there any way to insert a cell's value into a
hyperlink. for example, i want to be able to place the
cells value into a web search without inserting a
specific hyperlink into every cell.

http://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=my_mod&p=A1

so whatever is typed in cell A1 is searched on yahoo.

One way

=HYPERLINK("http://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=my_mod&p="&A1,"Search Yahoo")

this part

,"Search Yahoo"

is not really needed, it makes the link look better, otherwise what's in A1
will be displayed in the
cell with the formula so you can replaced it with whatever you want

Hi R.,
A simple worksheet solution would be to use the HYPERLINK Worksheet Function.
To Effect the hyperlink, click on the "[x]" which is displayed.
=HYPERLINK("http://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=my_mod&p=" & A1, "[x]")
