Insert a .vob file from a DVD into a PowerPoint 2003 presentation

I am trying to insert a portion of an audio/video DVD into my PowerPoint
presentation to show through a projector. I have tried downloading a third
party conversion software, PFCPro, with no luck. The DVD plays in Windows
Media Player 11 with no problem at all. I am running Windows Vista Premium.
What is the best way to get this done?
