Hi,
On a Form access 2000 I have a textbox with such a input
mask "00.00.0000;0;_" (I don't remember exactly).

I developed the form on a german XP system.
When I run the application on a english XP system and
access is Access XP, then access can't regconize this
input mask anymore.
when I type 31.12.2003, access tell me, "the input value
is not correct... the input mask is "00,00,0000"

Why does Access change my input mask "00.00.0000"
to "00,00,000"? How can I do it, that my form run
correctly on all English, german, Czech systems (with the
same input mask)?

Thanks
TNL

Input masks are about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

They prevent good data entry operators from entering just 12/12 for the
current year. They do not prevent Access from spinning the date around
however it wishes. You are better without them.
